Borealis

Steina Vasulka’s “Borealis” (1993) is a multiple-channel video installation. Four large-scale, vertical, two-sided screens with the sound fed from four channels create a fully immersive audio-visual environment. Electronically reproduced, Iceland’s nature powerfully mesmerises and triggers multidimensional responses.
