XY – Ungelöst – Rekonstrukcija Zlocina

Milica Tomić’s “XY – Ungelöst – Rekonstrukcija Zlocina”, dating back to the turn of 1996, is a staged performance which appropriates the popular format of TV investigation show to expose the impossibility of arriving at / objectivising historical truth. The civil war in former Yugoslavia serves here as a pretext for reflection on the function of media and the role of artists vis-à-vis policies of regimes.
